Are You Making These Common Exercise Mistakes?
Like many of you, I have at times made some mistakes in my exercise routine. I have been lucky enough to have some really great trainers over the last few years but there is always room for improvement.
Here is a link to an article I read in Women’s Health. The article points out 6 common mistakes that we all may have made at one point or another and how to avoid them. I would like to point out 2 of them.
Lifting light is #1 on their list. I commonly see some of the women I work out with not lift heavy enough. I truly believe that we can lift a bit heavier and don’t always give ourselves credit.
Number 6 on their list is improper form and I completely agree! I think the biggest mistakes I have seen are when ladies are doing dead-lifts and push ups. If you are unsure about your form, ask a trainer at your gym to help you. Always as for help!
